Ayah@AyahTok@Tok Ki

Ayah to me & mr.

Ayah Tok to my three children.

Tok Ki to my cucu sedaras.

Ayah was diagnosed with Lymph0ma somewhere in March.

Lymphoma is a type of blood cancer that occurs when lymphocytes--white blood cells that help protect the body from infection and disease--begin behaving abnormally. Abnormal lymphocytes may divide faster than normal cells or they may live longer than they are supposed to.

Lymphoma may develop in many parts of the body, including the lymph nodes, spleen, bone marrow, blood or other organs.

Certain symptoms are not specific to lymphoma and are, in fact, similar to those of many other illnesses. People often first go to the doctor because they think they have a cold, the flu or some other respiratory infection that does not go away.
Common symptoms include:

*Swelling of lymph nodes, which may or may not be painless *Fever
*Unexplained weight loss
*Sweating (often at night)
*Chills
*Lack of energy
*Itching

Approximately 30 to 60 percent of patients with an aggressive form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma can be cured.

Ayah has to go for his second ct scan in hosp putrajaya yesterday. He flew together with Abg Pa on monday afternoon. This is his first time staying in tigatiga and we really hope he feels more comfortable as we now have a proper guestroom.

In the absence of my mom in law (Ma) I am suppose to be the cook cum carer. Trying my best to remember Ayah's routine of the day. But now, instead of coffee he drinks hot milo :-) On monday I clock out at 5.33pm to make sure I'll be home before he arrived. Managed to prepare his nasi air & nasi ayam for the others. Alhamdulillah he ate 'A LOT'. Selera masih ada, but.....he is so....skinny. The effect of cancer I guess. Seluar zaman muda boleh pakai semula, siap kena pakai belt lagi.

4 of his 6 sons accompanied him to hosp putrajaya. Imagine that, 4 sons to pamper him. Later the 5 of them had lunch at tigatiga. I cook lemak labu manis, sambal udang, ikan tenggiri goreng & telur goreng. Berselera semua orang makan.

Last night he had dinner with all his sons. Six of them. What a sight. Bukan senang nak kumpul semua when 3 of them staying in KB & 3 in KL. Abang Zi came on the first flight and Abg Za came on the 11 o'clock flight. Both of them have meeting in KL in the afternoon.

The scan came out clear this time and now we are waiting for the decision on what kind of treatment he will go through given his old age. Whatever it is, Abg Zi is there to advise what is the best way. We can only pray.
