Seasonal Change

We attended a friends housewarming in SaujanaUtama on our way home from Kuantan a few weeks back. The friend was mr’s ex colleague who later became his client. Memang a few pun situasinya macam tu since dia banyak refer colleagues or staffs dia yang nak cari a greener pasture. Kira ramailah jugak yang terhutang budi. Alhamdulillah he is in a position to help others indirectly as small as becoming their referee.

The last time I met her was before we left for London. Ha…that long for me but not for mr lah. Selalu je jumpa. Still remember our trip to Langkawi way back in 1999 when I was pregnant with Afiq. Dia orang yang lain ni bujang teruna semuanya. Mr & I je yang dah kawin. It was mr’s departments trip but I was the one who did the planning. Booked the flight, hotel segala lah. We went by airasia (masa tu airasia belum glamer macam sekarang). We stayed in AwanaPortoMalai (flight with hotel kind of trip). We rented a car. We as 6 of us – me, mr, tunnur,neezam,hani & tak ingat nama mamat sorang lagi. Gila crowded ha..ha..ha… berhimpit 4 orang kat belakang. Ohhh such a sweet memory sebelum everybody ada gerabak berderet-deret kat belakang *sigh

Back to the story, at her house we also met her big boss or the ceo of the company that she is working in. Nak tahu company apa clue dia if not mistaken mosh mode of transport going to work. I’ve heard stories on her and her husband. Good stories semua yang berjaya-berjaya. Ada jugak pasang angan-angan nak jadi macam couple ni nanti-nanti. Amin…

One thing is, mr ni kerja dia dari dulu sampai sekarang memang masuk board meeting sana sini. So orang yang dia kenal in one company pun yang selalu masuk board meeting lah jugak kan. When you know who they are, you automatically feel aiyoh segan la kan. Kita ni takat E41 je nasib boleh speaking je lebih kurang. Nak duduk sebelah a lady ceo amatlah erm….sukar gitu. Lagi lah when we know the husband is a very successful businessman who used to be the ceo of one of the English newspaper. Mak ai lagi lah…Luckily the couple ni jenis selamba so keluarlah cerita business. They own a ResepiRahsia and a few others outlet. So the husband (orang kelate) pun cerita his observation on the purchasing pattern in Malaysia. He said, January is the worst month in a year because of a few reasons

1. After Christmas orang dah spent the previous months
2. School starts so people spend more on school stuffs
But the third paling classic
3. Azam tahun baru…ha..ha….ramai yang buat new year resolution not to spend or cut spending ha..ha..ha…but he said sales usually pick up in march because most people dah lupa dah azam tahun baru..ha..ha..ha…

Btw, they drove a Porsche ok.

At the same housewarming I also met Ninuk gee…lama tak jumpa Ninuk. Macamana boleh jumpa ninuk? Sebab the host orang Terengganu and she is ninuk’s primary school friend. What a small..small…world. When people asked me how do I know ninuk? Ermmm…mommies group tee..hee….he…kitakan gaya mak mak 
