Day #8
Thursday 7 June 2012
The first part of the day we went to Southwark the other side of Thames. Started our journey from the apartment to Tower of London by bus. By doing this we could see more parts of London. Naik double decker duduk depan sekali so you can see the old building full of characters.
On the way we passed by St Paul Cathedral. I took the photo from the bus. If you read the forums in tripadvisor most christians spend their time visiting the place.

From Tower Bridge we took a bus to London Eye passing through Borough Market, London Bridge Hospital, London Dungeon and Madame Tussauds (went there before).

Since Sarah was not well Ayah & Afiq decided to continue their football Stadium visit. I let Sarah sleep and did some laundry.
Ayah & Afiq
Took Piccadilly line from Piccadilly Circus station to Arsenal station. Walked for 3 minutes to the Highbury House (the former venue of the Highbury Stadium – Arsenal FC’s former home stadium). Walked across a bridge to Emirates Stadium. Stadium was less majestic compared to Old Trafford. No crowd there, probably due to the continuous rain. Went to Highbury House superstore and bought a cap for Acu.

Walked back to Arsenal station. Took Piccadilly line to South Kensington station. Changed to District line, and headed to Fulham Broadway station. Walked 3 minutes to the Stamford Bridge Stadium, home stadium for Chelsea FC. This stadium was the least impressive compared to Manchester United’s Old Trafford and Arsenal’s Emirate Stadium. More crowd here than in Emirates. Went to the megastore.
On their way back to the apartment the boys went shopping at Lillywhites. Ayah bought MU jersey and a NIKE shoes for Afiq. The MU jersey is cheaper here. Afiq is very H.A.P.P.Y :-)
*Note: there are so many things to do in London itself as long as you have a bigger budget. Most of our budget went to the flight tickets & accommodation. We travel light hence the same jackets throughout the holiday. Jackets take so much space in the luggage.
