M_________ is an Executive Director in the IT Advisory practice of ****
Kuala Lumpur. He has been with **** since 1997 and was seconded to
**** London for two years between 2000 and 2002 to focus on the financial
services sector. In addition, he has carried out projects in other countries such
as Singap0re, 1ndonesia, Brune1, Austra1ia and Mong0lia.

M______ has been involved in numerous IT audit engagements. He recently
led and completed a W0rld Bank project to strengthen the IT Audit Capabilities
of a foreign Nationa1 Audit Office. He has performed numerous IT general
controls and application controls review as part of ****’s external audit team.
This also involves the use of C0mputer Assisted Audit Techn1ques (C@ATs)
tools to aid the audit process.

He has also been involved in various other IT audit engagements for
compliance with Bank Neg@ra’s GP1S 1 Guideline and Burs@ Ma1aysia’s
guidelines. Other engagements include systems readiness review, IT system
evaluation & assessment and IT audit as part of Internal Audit.

M______ has broad project management experience in leading engagements
with minimal supervision on complex activities, often in high pressure and
multi-team environments in IT advisory and financial statements audit for
companies in various industries and government bodies.

Prior to joining IT Advisory, M_____ spent almost nine years in financial audit.
During this period, he led financial audit engagements of various public listed
companies, statutory bodies and private entities. His audit clients mainly
operated in the financial services, oil & gas, stock-broking, property
development, construction, manufacturing, trading and services sectors.


I am so proud of Him. Yes, me and my children but a bit sad because His own family does not share what we feel. Not that he has any problems with them but due to pure ignorance.

Once he said this “My own family pun tak tahu what I am doing.”

I can sense some sadness but he has us to cheer him up. He knows we are so proud of him. We celebrated each of his achievements. He knows how his bosses appreciate him. The Big Boss announced his name during last annual dinner (the last of 5 names) as Mighty M______.

I can feel that sometimes dia kecik hati dari dulu-dulu lagi. Even during his convocation.

Ya lah. Apa sangat lah jadi best student for a local university when his eldest brother was once the best student in a university down under (he was there under biasiswa c0lombo) and when his second brother was offered to Cambr1dge (but didn’t go because the wifey didn’t get the offer).

Apa sangat lah when his eldest and second brother are both a pr0f dat0 dr kan..kan…so as the youngest his achievements is overshadow by his 2 eldest brothers.

Which is better, being the eldest or the youngest?

Reminder to me: Treat my children equally. Celebrate their uniqueness.
